The main road between Helston and the Lizard Peninsula has reopened following a serious collision between a car and a motorbike earlier today.
The crash took place on the road past RNAS Culdrose just before 1pm.
Witnesses on social media have suggested that a person may have been thrown over a wall as a result of the collision, although this has not been confirmed by emergency services.
The condition of the people involved in the crash is not known at this time.
Police closed the road for almost five hours to carry out investigations at the scene.
Traffic was diverted via Gweek and there was significant congestion on the narrow lanes as a result.
