Tributes have been paid to Cecelia Seddon, who was found dead at a property in Penzance on Thursday April 19.

The body of the 32 year old was found at a bedsit in Penare Road at around 9:45pm, and detectives from the Major Crime Investigation team have launched a murder investigation into the circumstances around her death.

Her family paid tribute to her, saying: “Cecelia was one of the strong ones with a big heart. She never gave up till the end – a true fighter and that is how she should be remembered.

“We as a family are all devastated by Cecelia’s death and ask that you respect our privacy at this very difficult time.”

Three people were arrested on suspicion of murder and have all been charged with supplying a quantity of class A drugs including cocaine and crack cocaine, and were also charged for money laundering.

A 49 year old man, a 22 year old man, and a 27 year old woman appeared in magistrates court on Monday and were remanded in custody to appear at Truro Crown Court on May 22 for the drugs and money laundering charges. Police are awaiting results of toxicology tests in relation to the death.

Detective Inspector Stephen Hambly said: “We are appealing to anyone with information, no matter how small, that relates to Cecilia and/or her movements during April.
