Hine Downing Solicitors have teamed up with Falmouth Age Concern, which provides contact and friendship for lonely older people in and around Falmouth and Penryn, to offer a will making service in which the normal fee is waived and a contribution made to the charity instead.
Falmouth Age Concern runs a successful and much needed Befriending Service as well as clubs, classes and excursions. It particularly tries to help the most isolated and lonely older people in our community. It is an independent local charity which provides a lifeline for the elderly and housebound by sending volunteer visitors to those who feel cut-off from the outside world.
The Make a Will Week runs from May 16 to Wednesday, May 23 and will be led by Will Richards who is the Head of Hine Downing's specialist elder client team. He said: “Falmouth Age Concern provides a much needed service to the elderly in Falmouth, Penryn and the surrounding area. We have seen the positive effect that their volunteer befriending service and other programmes can have and as Falmouth’s local solicitors, we want to do all that we can to promote their work.”
Anyone who wishes to make, amend or review their will and give a donation to Falmouth Age Concern, should contact Will on 01326 316655.
