A DEER had to be freed at Penryn railway station this morning after lodging its head in a fence.
Police from Falmouth attended the scene and had to hold the distressed animal to avoid further injury.
A vet was called to sedate the deer and Falmouth fire crews cut the fence.
The deer was eventually freed and after a check over by the vet, it was released back into the wild.
