AN appeal has gone out for witnesses after a pet shop in Redruth was broken into and stock stolen.

Raw4Pawz in Green Lane, Redruth was broken into on May 18 between 11.30pm and midnight.

Stock taken included Salmon Skin Bites, Green & Wilds Tripple Tripe Tastic Chews, Green & Wilds beef hearties, Green & Wilds ZiwiPeak Dog, Pure & Simple Salmon cat food, Dynamit cat nip toy, a box of Country Hunter sachet food, Naturesmenu green large anti scoff bowl.

The burglar is thought to have come down the path on Green Lane, between the accountants and the car park with the shop's sign on the post. The stone was thrown through the back door, the burglar then climbed through the door window, which they smashed, and then went into the stock room at the back of the building.

Posting on her Facebook page, owner Ali Hall said: "We are putting this status out as a request of any information or any suspicious activity that was spotted in and around Iceland carpark Redruth, Green Lane Redruth last night (May 18) from around 11:30pm.

"Please contact us with any information that may help us and the police with the investigation. Witnesses have come forward and mentioned some one selling some natural pet treats around Aldi, Redruth today (May 19), if anyone has brought any of these treats can they please bring them back to the shop or contact us via our Facebook page. www.facebook.com/RAW4PAWZ www.raw4pawz.co.uk
