WITNESSES of a vicious assault in Camborne are being sought after police believe the incident was captured on mobile phones in broad daylight.

One man suffered a broken jaw after trying to intervene and officers want witnesses to come forward with footage of the attack on two young men at Tuckingmill skate park on Saturday.

A police spokesman said: "The incident occurred at approximately 4.30pm, in what has been reported as an unprovoked attack.

"The first victim was set upon by a teenager who head-butted and punched the victim to the floor. Two other young men then joined in the fight, kicking and punching the victim multiple times.

"Another young man tried to intervene and break up the fight, but he too was then assaulted and punched repeatedly to the face and sustained a broken jaw in the process. The first victim sustained a black eye and multiple cuts and bruises."
