On a glorious evening, Mylor Yacht Club (MYC) collaborated with St Mawes Sailing Club (SMSC) to offer visually impaired members of the Cornish Sailing club Blind at Sea an opportunity for an evening sail across the Carrick Roads.

Eight boats belonging to Mylor Yacht Club members took onboard their guests and set off to St Mawes where they were ferried ashore by the MYC RIB.

SMSC commodore Brian Trenoweth greeted the sailors and treated the Mylor folk to drinks and nibbles.

Then it was back in the sailing boats and a return to Mylor for a pasty supper.

This is an annual collaboration for the three sailing clubs.
