An open fire was reported along the A390 at Threemilestone
Cornwall Fire and Rescue service attended a fire in the open on the A390 at Threemilestone this afternoon.
A member of the public reported the incident to the fire services at 2.56pm, with one pump from Truro Community Fire Station arriving at the scene.
On arrival the officer in charge confirmed a controlled burn with Environmental Health already in attendance. After liaising with Environmental Health crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet.
The incident was left safe and in the hands of Environmental Health.
