A section of the A30 past Truro has reopened this morning after being closed for what was described as a "police incident."
Details remain sparse, but traffic monitoring systems reported the eastbound carriageway of the A30 being closed "due to police incident from A3058 Beacon Road (Summercourt) to A39 (Indian Queens, Toldish)."
The closure affected traffic heading from A39 at Carland Cross in the direction of the Bodmin area.
Highways England announced on Twitter that the road was closed due to a collision.
It added that police are at the scene and included diversion directions.
Motorists were advised to exit the A30 at Summercourt and join the A3058 to Quintrell Downs, turn right on to the A392 to Indian Queens to re-join the A30 at Highgate Hill.
Road users were advised to allow additional time for their journey and to consider alternative routes.
