A ten year old girl died tragically after being thrown from a quad bike which had overturned.
Lily McCormick, from Liskeard, was a passenger on the bike when the male rider lost control of the vehicle on a farm in Looe on Sunday (July 22).
She suffered life-threatening head injuries and was airlifted to Derriford Hospital, but was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving.
The rider of the bike also sustained minor injuries.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident, although it is not being treated as suspicious. The Heath and Safety Executive has been informed.
Family and friends say they are devastated by the loss of Lily and are wearing a red ribbon around their left wrist in her memory. Red was Lily's favourite colour.
A candle has been lit in her memory at St Neot Church.
