Anyone looking to own their own home in the Breage parish and surrounding area is being asked to complete a survey about their needs.

Planning consultancy Situ8, which worked with Coastline Housing on the development of 75 affordable homes currently being built on the Bulwark Estate in Helston, are now turning attentions to Germoe.

The company said it was proposing a “small housing development” on land near Germoe Cross and wants to hear from people already living in the Breage parish.

The company said: “If you live in the parish of Breage and want to own an affordable home at 40 per cent to 50 per cent discount, register your interest.

“We are conducting a housing needs survey to find out the level of need and what type of housing is preferred.

Falmouth Packet:

“Positive, negative and constructive views are all welcome. Most importantly we need to hear the views of the locals and what they would like in their area.

“We are very hopeful that locals who see it will be encouraged to complete the survey and potentially pass on the survey to anyone who they feel may be interested in a new affordable home”

To register, complete the housing needs survey on the website www.situ8.co.uk or contact Angela Warwick at Situ8 for more information on 01726 67591 [sic] or via angela@situ8.co.uk and she will email or post a form to you.

The closing date for completing a survey is September 30.
