Overcast skies didn't stop the Red Arrows from dazzling a crowd with yesterday's display over Falmouth.

The team took to the skies over Falmouth Bay with their signature red, white and blue smoke trails which delighted spectators who crowded from Gyllyngvase Beach up to Pendennis Point.

The event was so popular that many even took to the sea, creating a flotilla of onlookers.

But before the action began, members of the Red Arrows team met fans and signed autographs at one of Falmouth's hotels.

The Royal Duchy Hotel hosted a pre-performance tea where the team enjoyed food and drink on the terrace for the second year in a row.
