Police are making an appeal to the public to help trace a man who stole £40,000 worth of jewellery from a shop in Penzance.
The man entered Little Jems on Market Place just after 11am on Tuesday August 14. He jumped over the counter and stole jewellery from a window display. Staff attempted to block the door as the man forced his way out of the shop.
He left the scene on foot and was last seen running in the direction of Penzance train station. No one was harmed during the incident.
Investigating officer, Scott Ellwood said: “We would like to identify and speak to the man pictured in connection with this incident.
“We’re releasing the images of this individual in the hope that members of the public may have seen him in the area or know who he is.
“I’d ask anyone who knows him or has any information to contact police.”
