A safari is taking place through Helston today - but it will be cake rather than wild creatures in people's sights.

The Garden Party Safari is being held all afternoon to raise money towards replacement windows at Helston's Central Methodist Church.

First up will be the garden of Joyce Hughes 6 Parc Ledden, where there will be a cake stall between 1pm and 2pm.

Then at Eileen Hatton's home at 33 Church Hill there will be a teddy stall between 2pm and 3pm.

Between 3pm and 4pm a bottle stall will be at Pauline Reed's at 23 Turnpike, before the event ends with cream teas at Baden Christopher's at Treslothan in Hillcrest, from 4pm.
