A THEATRICAL tour de force featuring an amazing turn by actor Roger Llewellyn as Sherlock Holmes comes to Hall for Cornwall in December.
It is 1916 a retired Holmes returns to Baker Street for the funeral of his dear friend and colleague Dr Watson. As the key turns it unlocks memories that take him back to some of the most infamous crimes of his career. Join a journey to the innermost parts of fiction's greatest detective.
Sherlock HolmesThe Last Act is performed by Roger Llewellyn, winner of the Shakespeare Prize at RADA, who has had a distinguished career in television and theatre including many seasons with the RSC. His bold and forceful performance brings every aspect of Holmes' amazing inner world vividly to life.
Writer David Stuart Davies has turned detective, putting Conan Doyle's stories under investigation to find out what made Sherlock Holmes tick. Holmes' logic and intellect is well-known but Davies has uncovered a surprising amount of passion and humour that comes across in this moving, funny and intense story.
The show is the winner of 5-star reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival The performance starts at 8pm on Saturday, December 1, with tickets priced £13.50, £11, £9 (RV) and concessions at £11.50 and £9.
