FIREFIGHTERS in Bridgwater were called to King George Avenue in the early hours of this morning (Sunday) after a stolen car was set alight.
The 999 call was received shortly after 4.30am, and led to firefighters clad in breathing apparatus tackling the blazing car.
Police investigators later revealed they believed the car had been stolen and set alight deliberately. The car was severely damaged by the fire.
Investigations are ongoing.
