PEOPLE in a Bridgwater suburb are being invited to play their part in deciding what issues the police and partner agencies should be focusing on during the coming year.
A Partners and Communities Together - PACT - meeting is planned for Eastover at the end of the month, and aims to give people a direct say in what the police and partner agencies focus on during the coming months.
The PACT meetings also provide people to help find the best solutions to problems that are troubling them in their community.
Previous PACT meetings has suggested that issues range across a number of areas, including anti-social behaviour problems, dog fouling, speeding and licence applications.
It is the first PACT meeting for the Eastover area and it is hoped that the public will turn out in force to play their part in having a say in local policing.
The meeting is to be held in the school hall at Eastover Primary School, Wellington Road, Bridgwater on February 27, starting at 7.30pm.
