SOCCER stars of the future recently attended a three-day skills school at Bridgwater College, in association with Simply Soccer and Arsenal football club.
More than 80 boys and girls aged five to 14 came from Bridgwater, Taunton and Street to participate in the event, developing their skills with the help of coaches from around the region.
Action-packed games and activities were offered which included skills tests, penalty shoot-outs and goalkeeping techniques, together with emphasis on player behaviour and teamwork.
All participants received a certificate of attendance with special medals being awarded to the most improved player, most successful goalkeeper and the best all rounder within each of the age groups.
