Devon and Cornwall Police have launched an appeal to help them in their search of a 31 year-old man from Penryn.
Jordan Louis Benoit Guilmard, who has links to Penryn, Perranporrth and Truro is wanted by the force in connection to an investigation of grievous bodily harm.
Police describe the wanted man as 'a white male, with short brown hair, brown beard, five foot six and of thin, muscular build.'
Following enquires made by police to find the man they are now appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts.
If anyone sees the man are asked not to approach him and immediately phone the police on 999 quoting reference CR/071621/22.
A full statement from the police force said: "Police are seeking the public’s help to trace a 31-year-old man from the Penryn area.
"Jordan Louis Benoit Guilmard is sought in connection to an investigation of grievous bodily harm.
"Extensive enquiries have been made by police to locate him and officers are now appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts and to report any sightings.
"He is described as being a white male, with short brown hair, brown beard, five foot six and of thin, muscular build.
"He has links to Penryn, Perranporth and Truro.
"Anyone who sees Jordan, or who knows of his whereabouts, is asked to not approach him and to call police on 999 immediately quoting reference CR/071621/22."
