Residents of a Falmouth housing estate say they are being kept awake night after night by noisy neighbours.

People living in Prislow Fields attended a Boslowick Community Meeting with police and Sanctuary Housing to complain about the ongoing problems.

They claimed that other residents are up drinking and partying until four in the morning.

One resident said: "We don't get any sleep. All the time they're having parties next door."

Another added: "They keep us awake. People were collapsed in the street because they were so drunk. It's disgusting."

PC Andy Filkins and PCSO Amanda Shaw said they needed to be informed of the incidents if they were to tackle the problems, but a plan of action would be put into place.

Falmouth town councillor Stephen Eva, who covers the Boslowick ward, urged residents experiencing problems with noise to call the out of hours help line.

The Carrick Community Night Patrol, which tackles noise nuisance, runs between 10pm and 4pm, seven days a week and can be contacted on 01872 224628.
