A man wanted by police for questioning in connection with two sex attacks has been arrested.
David Newton, who has connections with both the Helston and St Ives area, was arrested in Hayle yesterday afternoon and has been taken back to his home area of West Yorkshire for questioning.
He had previously been spotted at a guest house in St Ives on Sunday.
Officers want to speak with Mr Newton in connection with two linked sex attacks: one on a 52-year-old woman walking on Ilkley Moor on June 26, 2006 and the other on a 16-year-old girl on parkland in Halton, Leeds, on July 9, 1997.
