MABE
LADIES CHOIR: Over £500 was raised for choir funds when Mabe ladies choir held a summer fair in Mawnan Smith village hall. Some members served on the various stalls, others were busy in the kitchen serving bacon butties.
They were pleased to welcome three new members to their rehearsal on Wednesday. Any lady interested in joining is invited to attend rehearsals in Penryn Methodist upper hall, any Wednesday at 7.30pm.
The choir will be sharing the programme with Eight in a Bar on Sunday, August 24 in Penryn Methodist chapel flower festival weekend.
