The Bible teaches us that we will be successful by accepting God's goal for our life; significant from the proper use of time; fulfilled by using our unique gifts in serving others; satisfied from living righteously; happy from wanting what we have; secure by focusing on eternal values and at peace inside ourselves. God also wants us to have fun, which comes from enjoying life moment by moment and removing hindrances like keeping up appearances.

The pastor gave out the diary for July, which introduces house groups on Tuesday evenings and looks forward to the church's attendance at Lifeboat Day. A loaves and fishes supper will be held at the Church at 6pm at a charge of £1.

The guest speaker at the evening service on Sunday was Paul Aylen from the OAC Ministry, a ministry of evangelism that supports local churches. Paul gave a powerful testimony and then spoke on the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.

The evening service was led by Mr Besley, from Fraddam, who preached from Paul's Epistle to the Romans. John Gilbert was the organist.
