A multi-award-winning UK rock band has been announced as one of the first headliners for The Great Estate Festival 2024.

It’s been 20 years since The Darkness debuted to almost overnight success after releasing their hit single ‘I Believe in a Thing Called Love’ which successfully reached the top of the charts in the UK, as well as becoming a hit in America.

Event directors Ben Hall and Ian Whittaker commented: “We are so excited to welcome The Darkness to The Great Estate next year.

“Their energy and showmanship is the perfect match for the festival, and we couldn’t imagine a better band for our opening night.
