An impressive £12,311.19 was raised at Royal Cornwall Hospital NHS Trust Charity's silent disco fundraiser last week.

Around 1,000 fun-loving supporters crowded into Truro Cathedral on November 10, with their dancing illuminated by the beautiful seven-metre Gaia art installation.

The lively event was brought to life by the expertise of the DeluxX team and ssssilentdisco.co.uk Mass Affect Lighting, keeping the Nave rocking from beginning to end with their incredible light show.

RCHT Charity’s Lynne Lees shared the organisation’s gratitude to Quick Panda Productions.

She said: "Underworld would not have been possible without the generosity, kindness and support of Quick Panda Productions and we are indebted to their whole team."

She also thanked attendees and the cathedral's team, headed by COO Sean O’Neill, for such a successful event.

Lynne added: "It was such a fantastic evening! We’d like to thank the Cathedral team and their COO Sean O’Neill for letting us stage these incredible events and to everyone who bought a ticket and came to support RCHT Charity.

"Thank you, you’ve helped to make a difference to the people of Cornwall across our three hospitals with this staggering amount and we’re all just so grateful."
