Punk legends The Stranglers (Official) have been confirmed as Friday night headliners at the Great Estate Festival next year.

The Stranglers no bullsh*t attitude was embraced by the punk movement of the late 70s. But their musicianship and menace transcended the genre, creating a sound unique to themselves. Scoring hit singles with ‘Peaches’, ‘No More Heroes’ and ‘Walk On By’. Further success was to follow with ‘Always The Sun’, ‘Strange Little Girl’ and the mercurial ‘Golden Brown.

The festival is also bringing Soul II Soul to the festival on Sunday.

The iconic band born from the vibrant UK soundsystem culture, epitomises determination, resourcefulness, and an unwavering passion for music.

Their groundbreaking hits, like "Keep On Movin'" and "Back To Life," solidified their global fame and earned them two Grammy Awards. It's going to be a Sunday like no other.

They join The Darkness who are now headlining Saturday night for a weekend filled with rambunctiousness all round!

The Great Estate is also renowned for its happenings across the weekend including ‘The Sanctuary Well Being Area’, ‘The Grand Cinematic Experience’, ‘The Zen Den’, ‘Victorian Sports Day’, ‘Wood Fired Hot Tubs’, ‘Captain Inkus Tattoo Parlour’, ‘Under The Canopy Cornwall Adventure Club’, ‘Madame Wong’s House of Wrong’, ‘The Secret Gin Garden’, ‘Talks at Teatime’, a large array of immersive theatrical installations and much more to be announced.

Now in its seventh year, the Great Estate Festival is renowned for showcasing international musicians and local emerging talent. The festival will take place at Scorrier House from May 31 to June 2, 2024.

Previous headliners include Primal Scream, Manic Street Preachers, James and Echo and the Bunnymen.

Super early bird tickets are on sale now, priced at £85 for the three days, including camping. Children's tickets are also available from £20 for those aged five and over. All those under five are free.

For those looking for a luxury option, glamping packages are available including bell tents and shire huts.
