The annual general meeting saw the Cornwall Women's Football League change its name for the coming season following the change in name of its sponsor due to Abdul Salam opening a new Indian restaurant venture in Redruth.
The format of the competition for 2008-9 was decided, after last season's top four sides (Torpoint, Bude, Launceston and Saltash) were all promoted to the South West League, the number of divisions has been reduced to two.
St Breward and Hayle were promoted to division one, in addition to Falmouth Town and Roche. The remainder will play in division two, which includes newcomers Charlestown, who will play at Sticker FC. The league season is to begin on Sunday, September 7.
The divisional cups retained their two-leg format. The full draws are:Amity League Cup first round: Camelford v Callington, Falmouth v Holmans, Roche v Penzance Reserves, St Agnes v Dobwalls, St Blazey v Charlestown, St Breward v Mullion, Wendron v Hayle, Marazion - bye.
Natural Bath and Body Store Division One Cup first round: Dobwalls v St Blazey, Falmouth v St Breward, Marazion v Hayle, Mullion v Roche.
Kimmins Division Two Cup first round: Camelford v Wendron, Holmans v Charlestown, Penzance Reserves v St.Agnes, Callington - bye.
