The event is designed to help raise funds for the Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival which takes place from the June 14-16, 2024 for its 20th year!

The charity partner of the festival, the RNLI, will also be celebrating their 200th anniversary this year, giving one of the largest free nautical music festival in Europe an even bigger reason to celebrate.

The fundraiser event will give ticket holders a taste of what is to come at the Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival.

There will be a bar serving alcoholic and soft drinks as well as a number of traditional Cornish pasties available for purchase. There is also the opportunity to buy raffle tickets via cash on the night to win various exciting prizes from generous local businesses.

“This is a great opportunity to get excited for the 20th year of the Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival in June and to preview just a few of the groups who will be performing there” says Pat Hobden from the Sea Shanty Organising Committee. “The fundraiser is always well received so we have increased the number of tickets this year, but you will still need to be quick to ensure you do not miss out!”.
