All the important dates and events of this year's Roseland Festival have been confirmed.

The much-anticipated gathering, now in its 18th year, runs from April 19 to April 28, set on Cornwall's picturesque Roseland Peninsula.

A key event in the cultural calendar, the festival boasts a richly diverse and eclectic line-up, celebrating the best of Cornish arts, culture, and local produce.

Literary buffs won't be left disappointed as authors Tim Hubbard and Emma Cowell are scheduled to host talks.

Mr Hubbard will delve into ‘The Secret Gardens of Cornwall’, his newly published book, while Mr Cowell will discuss her latest novel, the last in her trilogy exploring her love of Greece.

Food enthusiasts have plenty to sink their teeth into, too.

Rupert Cooper, a chef at the Philleigh Way Cookery School, is set to prepare a three-course rustic farm feast.

And after proving a big hit last year, the crab lunch on Curgurrell Farm will make a return.

There's even a twist for book lovers who enjoy a tipple.

The innovative 'Read between the Wines' offers a unique way of blending literature with wine tasting.

Falmouth Packet:

No festival would be complete without a music line-up.

This year promises to be the most diverse yet, with folk singer-songwriter Daisy Rickman, and the off-beat Morris dancers from Falmouth, The WAD, already confirmed.

The Falmouth Community Gospel Choir, Cornish singer-songwriter Nathan Ball and Soprano Nancy May make up the rest of the line-up.

Children are catered for with the one-man Squashbox Theatre, while the Miracle Theatre will bring their lively blend of comedy cabaret for a humorous quiz night.

Those keen to explore the Roseland's natural beauty can join a variety of guided walks organised by the National Trust Roseland Rangers.

Tours include an exploration of the military history of St Anthony’s Head gun battery and the wildlife of Nare Head.

For a different perspective, an estuary cruise aboard the ‘Duchess of Cornwall’ offers serene views.

The festival, a registered charity, funds local initiatives that promote public education and an appreciation of the arts.

Grants will be offered to the four Roseland primary schools and the Roseland Senior Academy for Arts related projects.
