Three Cornwall venues have teamed up to give away award-winning Agnes Arber Gin G&Ts to all visiting mums this Mother’s Day.

For one day only, on Sunday, March 10, Falmouth’s stunning Hotel Meudon, Perranporth’s The Tywarnhayle Inn and Stones Reef Bar & Kitchen in Praa Sands will all be serving FREE Agnes Arber G&Ts for visiting Mums.

Whether your nearest venue is the beautifully secluded Hotel Meudon, local’s favourite The Tywarnhayle Inn or beachside bar Stones Reef, Agnes Arber is calling on the people of Cornwall to head down to their nearest participating venue with their Mum - or the Mum in their life – and grab them a refreshing Agnes Arber G&T, on the house.

Simply head down to your nearest participating venue on Sunday, March 10 - with your mum - and request a complimentary Arber G&T for her. It really is that simple!

There is no catch, however free G&Ts will be on a first come, first served basis – so don’t leave it too late in the day!

Inspired by the pioneering female botanist, Agnes Arber (1879-1960), Agnes Arber Gin is a botanical tribute to her incredible work.

The plant morphologist and historian of botany was the first female botanist to be elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society and the first female to receive the Gold Medal of the Linnean Society of London, for her contributions to botanical science. Nic Ponticakis, Brand Manager for Agnes Arber Gin, commented: “Mother’s Day is such a special day for so many people, and one that brings parents and carers, and their offspring together. By partnering with these incredible venues, we hope to encourage consumers in Cornwall to spend some quality time with their Mums this Mother’s Day, catching up over an Arber G&T. “Agnes Arber was an amazing woman who contributed so much to botanical sciences and ultimately the creation of gin, so it felt apt to reward all the incredible Mothers out there with a G&T inspired by another incredible woman, Agnes Arber.”

All G&Ts will consist of a single serve of Agnes Arber Premium Gin paired with the sustainably produced, light and refreshing Marlish English Tonic Water.
