Iain Gahan, 43, who had been reported missing from the Camborne area, has been found safe by police.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "We would like to thank members of the public for their help." 


The police are asking members of the public to help trace a man in connection with reports of an assault.

Iain Gahan, 43 from Camborne was said to have been last seen in the Camborne area on Tuesday, February 20.

According to the police, Gahan is described as a white male, of medium build with blond hair. He is also 6ft 2ins tall.

A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police are seeking the public’s help to trace a 43-year-old man from Camborne.

“Iain Gahan is wanted in connection with reports of assault.

“Enquiries have been made by police to locate him and officers are now appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts.

“Gahan is described as a white male, of medium build with blond hair. He is 6ft 2in tall.

“He was last seen in the Camborne area, on Tuesday 20 February.

“Anyone who sees Gahan is asked not to approach him but to call police on 999, quoting reference number 50240041005.

“Information can also be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555111, or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org.”
