Police say that 15-year-old Shane Isaacs, who had been reported missing from the Falmouth area, has been found safe.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "We would like to thank members of the public for their help."


A 15-year-old boy missing since Thursday was last seen in the centre of Falmouth yesterday.

Now police are asking people to report any further sightings immediately, via 999.

Shane Isaacs was reported missing from the Falmouth area on Thursday this week, February 22.

Devon and Cornwall Police say they are growing increasingly concerned over the welfare of the teenager.

He was last seen on The Moor in Falmouth town centre, at around 4pm on Saturday (February 24).

However, his sister has posted on Facebook today (Sunday) to say it is now thought he may be in the Plymouth area, calling for people in the city to also keep a look out for him.

He was last seen dressed all in black, and may be wearing a “large” black North Face coat, and black jogging bottoms.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said today: “Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of 15-year-old Shane Isaacs, who has been reported missing from the Falmouth area since Thursday 22 February.

“Shane was last sighted in The Moor area of Falmouth at around 4pm on Saturday 24 February.

“He is described as a white male, of medium build with dark brown hair. He is 5ft 6in tall.

“He may be wearing a large black North Face coat, black jogging bottoms and black trainers.

“He is believed to be in the Falmouth area.

“If you have seen Shane, or know of his whereabouts, please call police immediately on 999, quoting reference number 50240043665.”


Seventeen-year-old Daisy Hogan-Barry from West Cornwall also remains missing today, after last being seen on Tuesday (February 20).

Anyone who has seen Daisy or knows where she might be is asked to contact police immediately.

It is thought she may potentially have travelled to another part of the country, as she has links to both Nottingham and the Warrington area.
