Iain Gahan, 43, who had been reported missing from the Camborne area, has been found safe by police.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "We would like to thank members of the public for their help." 


olice are still seeking the public’s help to trace 43-year-old Iain Gahan from Camborne who is wanted in connection with an assault.

They are yet to find Gahan following a report of an assault in the area. He was last seen in the Camborne area on Tuesday, February 20.

Police are continuing to search for Gahan but are appealing for help from the public to find him.

Anyone who sees Gahan is being asked not to approach him but to dial 999 instead and report his whereabouts to the police.

He is described as being 6ft 2ins tall, medium build with blond hair.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Iain Gahan is wanted in connection with reports of assault and has yet to be located.

"Enquiries have been made by police to locate him and officers are continuing to appeal to the public for information on his whereabouts.

"Gahan is described as a white male, of medium build with blond hair. He is 6ft 2in tall.

"He was last seen in the Camborne area, on Tuesday 20 February.

"Anyone who sees Gahan is asked not to approach him but to call police on 999, quoting reference number 50240041005.

"Information can also be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555111, or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org."
