Witnesses are being sought by police after a motorcyclist died in a fatal collision on the A38 in Cornwall today, March 7.
Police say emergency services were called around 7.05am this morning after a collision between a grey BMW motorcycle and a white Peugeot Boxer van near Trerulefoot roundabout.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s from Saltash, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The van driver was uninjured.
The A38 was closed for around eight hours for officers to investigate the scene and for the vehicles to be recovered.
Police said they would like to thank the public for their patience during the road closure.
Officers investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision are appealing for any witnesses to contact them. They are also keen to hear from motorists with relevant dashcam footage.
