Classic and vintage vehicle owners are being invited to display them at this year's Truro Classic Car Show.

The event, hosted by Truro BID, is set to be bigger and better than ever.

Not only will the cars be displayed on Lemon Quay, but now also Lemon Street and Boscawen Street.

This transforms Cornwall into a hub for automobile enthusiasts on Sunday, July 28.

In addition to the charming exhibit of loved vintage cars, the Truro Classic Car Show will also include motorcycles, commercial vehicles, and new cars, including electric cars.

Visitors will not only relish the sight of automobiles spanning a century but also browse stalls of automobilia and autojumbles.

Truro BID manager, Alun Jones, said: "We are looking forward to transforming the city with a display of much-loved classic and vintage cars to attract residents and visitors into Truro.

"The event will be larger this year, with cars and motorcycles displayed at more central locations.

He continued: "So we are encouraging interested classic or vintage vehicle owners to apply to exhibit at the classic car show now.

"As the event is taking place in the city centre, there is the benefit that the vehicles on show will be displayed on a hard surface setting.”

This year, the show has partnered with Macmillan Cancer Support, which will be fundraising on the day.

Although free to attend and exhibit, visitors wishing to showcase their classic car or vintage vehicle are invited to make a voluntary donation of up to £10 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on arrival to the event, accepting both cash or card donations.
