John Bishop will also visit Weymouth, Portsmouth, Brighton, Nottingham, Sheffield, Bristol and more next year.

Mr Bishop has undertaken various activities over the past two years, including TV presenting, stage acting, and podcast hosting, but he is eagerly returning to his favorite occupation - stand-up comedy.

The comedian said: "I’m delighted to be adding these additional dates to my 'Back At It' tour.

"The work in progress shows started about 10 days ago - the juices are flowing again and the response from the audiences has been incredible.

"I’m looking forward to seeing many more of you out there on the road."

Following the phenomenal demand for previous gigs, failing to secure tickets early may result in disappointment.

While Truro audiences might already be familiar with Mr Bishop's work, new fans will get the chance to see a comedy heavyweight live on stage.

Since his first comedy gig in 2000, he has played to sold-out arena audiences across the country, and he released the fastest-selling stand-up DVD in UK history.

John Bishop’s successes have extended well beyond the stand-up comedy circuit.

Alongside his own comedy, entertainment, and documentary shows, he also co-hosts the podcast Three Little Words with writer, actor, and director Tony Pitts.

Star-studded previous guests on the podcast have included Robbie Williams, John Cleese, Sebastian Faulks, and Professor Brian Cox.

Last year, John Bishop starred in the four-month UK & Ireland tour of Mother Goose with Ian McKellen, which successfully ran in London’s West End.

Tickets for the Truro show, and all new dates of his Back At It tour, will be available for purchase from 10am on March 22 at JohnBishopOnline.com.
