The UK's best small festival, according to The Times, is back with a new line up for 2024.

Tropical Pressure returns this summer, introducing a new area celebrating people, positivity and the planet.

The popular family-friendly three-day event is set to take place from July 12 to 14, overlooking the spectacular Porthtowan Beach on Cornwall's north coast.

Over ten years, Tropical Pressure has built fame for its ambience, food, and music line up that celebrates Latin American, African, and Caribbean cultures.

This year, the festival introduces the theme - 'Movements,' centred on community power, collaboration, and positive action.

Festival manager Claire Marshall said: "Tropical Pressure 2024 promises to be our most memorable yet.

"We are passionate about creative and cultural enrichment and we are committed to hosting the greenest, most environmentally sustainable festival we can.

"As ever we will be extending a warm welcome to everyone and celebrating diversity and community over three upbeat and vibrant midsummer days.

"We will be encouraging people to get together and find new ways to take positive action to protect the natural world."

Located at Mount Pleasant Eco Park, 3,000 tickets are available for what has grown to become a life-affirming experience known for its positivity and infectious dance atmosphere.

During the day and evening, it hosts live bands from across the tropical world, supplemented by free workshops suitable for all ages.

The festival transforms into a glowing wonderland at night as world-renowned DJs offer global music across three unique party spaces.

There is a plethora of plant-based food choices available from the World Food Market.

The new Movements Area is set to be visually stunning featuring a demonstration permaculture garden and other interactive and inspirational activities.

Tropical Pressure caters perfectly to families, offering a range of children-friendly activities, including kite-making and circus skills in the kids field.

Previous performers have included Cuba’s La Dame Blanche and Alogte Oho and His Sounds of Joy from Ghana.

The line-up for 2024 will be announced soon.

Final tier and day tickets will be on sale from April 1.
