Businesses and organisations across the Duchy have seized an opportunity to share their pranks all before 12pm.  

St Austell Brewery jokingly announced the launch of its beer-flavoured ice lollies on Monday.

People have sharing their humorous jokes on social media, with some incredible computer-generated images.

Coronation Park, Helston:

There were some special visitors on the lake this morning, as tropical flamingos made an appearance alongside the lake’s regular residents.

JQ Photography:

In one of two joke posts,  JQ Photography showed a picture of cars lining up on the causeway across to St Michael's Mount.

Ruth’s Pet Behaviour Services:

Ruth shared a special post on her Facebook page today revealing the newest member of her team – a cheeky baby bear.

Ruth joked that the bear is currently on a raw fish diet and has already been introduced to her other dogs.

Baker Tom's and Jam First:

Jam First, promoting the proper Cornish way of putting jam first, then cream, on a scone or split, teamed up with Baker Tom's for a video that is likely to have left people open mouthed in horror if they didn't watch in full.

West Cornwall Search and Rescue Team:

A breaking news alert was shared by the team announcing the launch of its new ‘drone’.

The drone in question just so happened to be a large hot air balloon filled with hot air, including four team members in the basket using binoculars.

A spokesperson said that the team will be in the basket 24/7 ready for the next launch.

Cornwall Pride:

A rainbow road for the opening of the new section of A30 anyone? 

Kernow Weather Team:

The weather team announced this morning that an ‘exciting’ new boating option over to the Isles of Scilly had been planned.

However, the boat which was named PS Flora Poli was revealed to be an April Fools.

Healey’s Cyder Farm:

Perhaps a slightly believable April Fools, the cyder farm announced the launch of its new flavoured Rattler – the 'Rich Chocolate Cyder.'

Droneman: 

With the toilets at Longrock recently selling at auction for £169,000, Droneman speculated on what they could become.

In their second April Fool of the Day, JQ Photography suggested the sand bank at Loe Bar had been totally washed away thus allowing cruise ships to make its way up to dock at Boating Lake!

Nationally, Flaming Grill Pubs said they would be serving dishes straight from the kitchen ‘ablaze with flames’.
