Flag fun coming to Falmouth

Anyone who lives and works in Falmouth will be invited to take part in a competition to design a town flag.

Falmouth town council is organising a competition for all members of the community to create a flag design that best represents Falmouth's heritage and future.

The design has to be capable of being made into a full-sized flag and a panel of experts will consider all the entries.

Prize money will be awarded to the creator of the best overall design and there will be a separate student prize.

Details have yet to be finalised and more information will be available in September, but anyone who wants to register their interest early should contact the town centre manager David Pollard on david@falmouth.co.uk with heading "Falmouth Flag Competition."
