Pupils at St. Francis School have been learning all about the Sikh religion.
The pupils have learnt all about where Sikhs worship and dressed in authentic Sikh clothes as well as learning traditional dances from Sikh Weddings in a series of workshops lead by Daya Satfford.
In coming weeks, the children will be continuing their exploration of the religion by cooking some authentic Indian food.
R.E. Co-ordinator Liz Coles said “These workshops have provided a fantastic opportunity to bring learning about another religion to life in the classroom.”
