Remembrance Sunday Morning Communion service was conducted by Rev Sylvia Burgoyne.
Images of the two world wars compiled by Jason Phillips and Chris Campbell were displayed on the screen during a period of reflection before the Act of Remembrance. Last Post was played by Rev Harry Chant on the trumpet. Alex Howarth read from Micah chapter 4, verses 1-5 and Pam Larkin read from John’s gospel chapter 15, verses 9-12. Rev Sylvia used the Street Bible version to describe peacemakers as stopping fights and starting friendships, turning fists into high fives. Margaret Eva was the organist.
