GODOLPHIN CROSS METHODISTS: Paul Beynon of Helston conducted the Remembrance Service on Sunday when there was a good gathering at the Memorial.
Wreaths were laid for the British Legion by Edward Hengist, for Breage Parish Council by Rosie Wyvern-Batt and by Lt Cdr Robin Suckling representing the Commanding Officer, Officers and Ships Company at RNAS Culdrose.
Crosses were laid for those named on the Memorial. Thanks are extended to William Iliffe who played the Last Post and Reveille on trumpet and to Paul for the lovely service, which followed in the Methodist Church.
PRIMARY SCHOOL: On Saturday, November 14 the school is holding a Christmas Fair from 10am to 1pm. There will be seasonal gift ideas, festive food and much more. Donations of cakes, buns and items for the raffle will be greatly appreciated.
