Plans for a "dry bar" facility available to youngsters in Helston have been put into motion after a meeting held at the Godolphin Club in the town.
Over 40 youngsters turned up to share their views on the possible opening of a facility for young people, which would serve non-alcoholic drinks and provide a place for them to meet.
They all agreed they wanted it in the centre of the town.
Izzy Maitland, from Helston Youth Centre, was pleased with how the meeting went.
She said: "There is definitely a desire for such a facility in the town and the ideas from the meeting will now be presented to the council and South Kerrier Alliance as we look to move things forward."
