Falmouth Bowling Club has hosted its annual Christmas Fair, with the money raised far greater than what was initially expected.
John Bobin, chairman of the club was delighted with how the event went.
He said: "It went down very well. We raised far more money for the club than what we expected and we was lucky enough to have a very good turnout."
However, he was unable to give a figure to the final total raised, as not all the money had been counted yet.
The fair featured a raffle, stalls selling next to new items such as clothes and books, as well as traditional Christmas nibbles such as mince pies and crackers.
The club has a series of events lined up over winter including a Christmas party, New Year celebrations and even playing a bit of bowls when the club isn't busy partying or raising money.
