A Falmouth group that supports people with a chronic disease has been given a permanent meeting place to continue their work in the community.
Fal Fibro Friends, a group for people suffering with fibromyalgia and their families and friends, will now meet twice a week in the chill out room at Remedies Bar on The Moor.
Group leader Ali Rowe thanked Remedies manager Claire Hibbert for lending her support.
She said: “As a major part of the Falmouth community, Remedies Bar have become the first business to offer support to Fal Fibro Friends.
“I am over the moon that Claire and all the staff at Remedies have taken us on board as a local, voluntary community group to support throughout 2010.”
Fibromyalgia is a condition that causes fatigue and widespread pain in the muscles.
