Standards were high at the third competition of the session, when David Johnston judged a wide selection of subjects both in prints and projected images.
He was congratulated by Daniella Buckby on his informative evaluations and upon his constructive comments, especially in the art of selective cropping. Bill Hunt had a successful evening in both prints and projected images with a superb study of anemones, and husband and wife team, David and Daniella Buckby, vied for first place in the set subject section of “Autumn tints and colours,” the lady gaining superiority.
Aila Johnston gained a second and third in the general projected images, while Richard Barton’s study of reflective trees gained him top marks in the set subject section.
