Jesus was the focus of the morning service on Sunday. Sarah Chaplin spoke from Colossians chapter 1 v 15-16, “He is the image of the invisible God, by Him all things were created, and in all things He may have the pre-eminence” and Jesus needs to be central in our hearts.
Winston Thomas spoke from Luke 10 in the evening service which reveals how love for God leads us to love others as ourselves. Just as Jesus came down to Earth to lift us up the Samaritan lifted up the man left for dead on the road to Jericho.
On Sunday Pastor Glen Chaplin is the speaker at the 10.45am service (crèche available) and Eunice Thomas is the speaker at the 6pm service.
On Thursday at 7.30pm a prayer meeting is held in the church.
The Parents and Toddlers meeting is on Thursday at 10 am to midday. The meeting on December 10 will be at 11am and a Christmas party will be held. On Friday at 5.45pm the Rock Solid Group is held and the Wavelength Youth Groups is held at 7.30pm. The Christmas parties for these groups will take place on December 11.
The Cellar Charity Shop is now open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9.30am to the revised time of 4.30pm and on Saturday from 9.30am to 1.30pm.
