ST BREACA: The fist Sunday of Advent was celebrated jointly at Germoe. The congregation welcomed Germoe to the Advent Carol Service at 6pm.
The church was ablaze with candles looking quietly beautiful. The Advent wreath and candles stood near the altar promising the Birth of Jesus. Vicar Penny lit the first candle and then blessed the hassock which was used by Sharon for her Ordination on Monday. Later this week she will be able to give her first parish communion.
The choir sang sweetly and the readers read beautifully. Des Chapman must be thanked for such dedicated work.
Carleen Flea Market on Saturday will include St Breaca's Christmas stall, please come you may find that elusive gift.
