Plans to build 117 new homes at a former garden nursery in Penryn are to be displayed to the public.
The plans to build homes at Gabbons Nursery had been given outline planning consent after a government planning inspectors decision that there was an “overriding local need for affordable housing.”
Persimmon Homes have bought the site and are preparing a reserved matters application to submit to Cornwall Council.
South West managing director, Simon Perks said that the exhibition in Penryn’s town hall would be an early opportunity for people to view the proposals.
“The outline application established the principal of development together with the detailed layout of the road access. The reserved matters application looks at how the development will be designed in detail.”
The exhibition is at Penryn Town Hall on Thursday, December 17. It will be open to the public from 2pm until 8pm.
