The National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek is hoping to add to its visitor attraction by creating a penguin enclosure with a viewing area.
Merlin Entertainments Ltd had applied for planning permission to create a stone wall enclosure that would be topped with mesh and covered with netting to stop contact with wild birds, due to the risk of Avarian bird flu.
The enclosure would create two more part time jobs.
More information will be in tomorrow's Packet.
